Gsx 1400
Hi. I recently bought a 2004 GSX 1400, in mint condition, it has done 40,000 klm's and runs like a clock.
But I have an annoying problem with it, that has just started. When you give it a sharp fist full of throttle, it hesitates, then takes off. If you screw it on gradually, it doesn't miss a beat, only under full rapid throttle.
I unfortunately am not mechanically minded, so have had to take it to one of the local bike shop here in Cairns.
A bit of a run down is as follows.
No fault shows up on computer.
New plugs.
New and adjusted TPI.
New battery.
Coils tested, wires checked.
After putting the new TPI on and adjusting it, he put it back on the dyno, and it seemed to be OK, took it out for a test ride, same problem
The mechanic thinks it is electrical, but can't seem to find anything.

Bloke with the stick
Hey mate, welcome aboard. Tony has one of these and knows a bit about them, so he may have your answer. I'm sure he'll be around soon.

Power Hungry, Law Disregarder
i had a similar issue with my SV,turned out to be a blocked fuel filter ,I removed the fuel filter from the pump and back flushed it with fresh fuel using a cheap syphon pump from super cheap.
