Hi all,
For my 40th birthday I decided to get myself a bike licence. I completed the rider training (NSW) and understood why so many people love riding bikes.
I have now gone and got myself a little suzuki GS500 K3 and the wife has decided to jump on board and get her licence.
I know very little about bikes and the sales staff seem to know that too, so I may have been taken for a "ride" when buying all my gear.
I am hoping to learn a few things here and make some riding friends.
I am on the central coast (NSW) and would can't wait to start playing around with my bike and getting out there.

Hey Mags, welcome aboard mate.
We've got one guy on here who put a turbo on his GS500. It wasn't the most reliable of matings, but he had fun getting there.

It's taken a while for you to realise why bikes are fun, but it's never too late!

I had a gpz500 for my first bike; lasted about a week before I was bored of it. How's the GS fairing with you?
