^^^ haha, yeah, you're not wrong, have a special drill bit coming, "supposed to stay straight" we shall see, but will attack from both ends, with a bit of luck will meet some where without a step, otherwise will make again and leave it solid through the guts!

Thought about making one but not confident enough and the one I'm getting only just over 100 bux 315mm long, supposed to have some special point on it to keep it centred, (never heard of this before, but will soon find out)

Cheers, I've been around lathes, mills etc for longer than I care to remember, but has been around 10 years since the last time I've used/ had one, so re learning and trying different techniques and materials, also can be very frustrating and expensive when I fuck it up, which is a regular occurrence for me.

Not much has progressed with this old beast, back axle made, swing arm bushed to suit original pivot pin, spacers done and hope like fuck I don't have to pull it apart again, same with front end, axle and spacers made and top clamp made but needs some finishing touches.

Wow, can't believe it's been three years since the last post on this thing, haven't really done much on it too hot out there but hopefully next year will put some A/C's in there and start again.

In the mean time I got a new Jaffa
