^^^ hey bud, all good, but yeah I try to get bargains also, was watching another wheel for half that price, was a bit sad paint wise, but got beat to it, story of my life, biggest prob though is the freight, wish I'd got this thing 12 months ago, could have done for half the price. oh well I guess it's the price we pay for toys.

So another fuckup, bought the wrong wheel, unfortunately it's the earlier ZX6 rim so hoping that the earlier model axle will fit the axle holes in the forks otherwise will have to make an axle up out of something suitable!

Adding to my forks thread in the advice needed section, I turned up a boss to adapt the old to the new and all is good with the head stem now, Cheers Ozzy for the advice.

Same deal with axels, ether able to change bearings to different id or bushes depending on what you have and is easier. If u bush forks don't forget to slot bushes so u still get clamp force.... Same deal take your time it's your arse

So a bit of an idea of what I'm trying to achieve, it's not much but something.

Don't much like the tank and side/rear plastic bit's, would much rather old school z1000 teardrop tank and plastics, anyone got these laying around?

Awesome, they do look good, maybe when I get closer to the finish line will look better to me, might need to have more of a think about paint scheme was going to paint tank, plastics and back same as front wheel, but not sure now.

^^^ Oh, that's a pain, I kinda just eyed the tank from pics on google, thought they might have been the same, thanks for that mate, saved me more pain and pressure from finance minister as well.

Don't thank me.... The other half of the Kawasaki soup nazis is becoming the Aus dealer for dromie collection things like complete tank, tail, and plastics preprinted complete for around the $1500 mark..... I think people are going to hate me because of the money they will want to spend lol
