    Soo...
I was in hospital on weds, surgery on Thursday ( custom made supersized plate for my long forearms) and out on Friday. A few shit days at home dealing with the friction after a bike crash, and it all seems to be getting better.
Giving a statement to cops on the 24th - that'll be quite short, I think I know why I was parked in the area, but no memory of riding there, or the crash.
Half cast comes off on 30th (no swimming on Christmas day for me), gets replaced with a splint, and I'll be sure I get a pic of my latest Frankenstein scar on my wrist from where they inserted the plate. Head injury doc in the new year. My head is less fuzzy now I'm on less painkillers. No oxy's, a little bit of pan adenine forte, mostly just ibuprofen.
And my wardrobe is now dictated by what shirt sleeves fit over the cast, so mostly old heavy metal and ASF tshirts.
    Merry Christmas, bitches.

The bike is apparently write off, stu.
I'll see what I can salvage, parts wise before it goes to auction. Still to hear back from the assessor, that description was from the bike shop.
And I have a new for old insurance policy if it less than 2 years old, so could be worse.

That'd be fantaastic, I'm sure we can work something out. See what they want for it as a write off too.

It's at pickles now. I'm arguing with them for my parts at the moment, I can't go and get them, but they won't pay me for them.
They sent it to pickles before they even asked me if the value was ok, even though I told them there were parts on it that weren't coverd by insurance so I wanted to remove them. And yes, i have the OEM bits in my garage.

What a pain in the arse.
Good luck arguing with the insurance company, I haven't seen too many win that argument.
