    The nfr 2014 offical thread.

    RIIIIIGHT
    This is it gents but there is a proposed change of plans and this is whats suggested.

    The venue (Start point) is looking at being changed to Tumut NSW for the following reasons.
    1. It is a point closer to Sydney and Melb by a long way compared to Cooma.
    2. There is access to a garage and tool (My place) and a motorcycle shop in town that open on Saturdays that we can have access too. (Sunday too if its a big enough problem)
    3. Accomidation will be motel/ hotel suites with the pub next door. (I know the owner of the hotel and will talk to him about group rates that will be posted tomorrow.
    4. The pub has a rider friendly owner that will accommodate our drinking.
    5. My joint is a 10min walk from the pub/hotel meaning any bikes that suffer problems can be stored at my place without charge.
    6. Tumut is 29km from Gundagai on the Hume hwy.

    Dates will be the weekend after the Snowy ride which means the 8th from memory.

    Everyone knows the run so that can stay the same it just means it'll be run in a reverse direction.

    I'm in for whatevs.. but only dickheads who forget their fuel key do the loop in reverse..

    Also with access to the "garage and tool" does that include a show??

    Yeah cruise im bias but if I can make it cheaper for everyone (Well most) whats the drama?

    It's kinda quiet in here.

    So far it's Trav, glitzy, me and weasel, and Dan is staying somewhere in Hornsby (it's close to his house) and is riding the old road a few times (cos it's close to his house).
    Any one else?

    I considered riding past the old road and staying in Gosford to turn around and ride the old road but decided not to.

    Google maps reckons

    Brookvale to Tumut 424 ks
    Brookvale to Cooma 411 ks

    Leaving from Tumut also ads about 100ks to the loop on Sat.

    Are there any good roads to Tumut or is it a drone down the Doom?

    Is there even a pie shop at Tumut?

    I'd like to come but I'm only a maybe.

    the road to tumut (Snowy Mountains Hwy if I remeber right?) is pretty good but its more sweeping bends rather then lots of tight turns, I wouldn't be phased to see it up there but on another note why change something thats worked for so many years already
