Don't get me wrong ,had too many OP Rums but I see a common thread amongst all these "OLD" rides, time to move on!
same here in the West, time to change, time to look for new events, time to find a common thread amongst us all!

Sorry Tony, had problems with the VFR on Friday. Mrs went to take the bike out and it wouldn't start for her and I wasn't home so Friday night started stripping it down to see what the problem was.
had spark on all 4 cylinders, was cranking over strong but just didn't want to fire up. I ended up bump starting the bike and it started first go. Took it round the block but was blowing a bit of brown smoke. Hit the kill switch and re-started a few times and it started, but even after a few laps of the block was still blowing smoke. Ripped the airfilter out and it doesn't look to healthy. I think both bikes need a bit of TLC after the trip down south. Just been flat out with work since i got back.
I think a fair few of us are scarred from the 40-degree-lost-in-Ipswich-6-hour highway trip last time we went. If we could find a ride that wasn't 70% straight roads up north we'd be on to a winner.
Was it just Tony that went in the end?? If so, what trooper!
We like your company Tony, last time it was a 10.5 hour ride home which is just too far with a hangover
