I wouldn't mind cutting these down, don't know if I could be fucked at the moment tho.
Still have the original damaged sleeves, might try & get motivated, cut them down from 45cm to 35cm & give them a bash with a hammer.
Or if I'm too lazy, I might just buy these,
Don't do the white light surround, make sure you do the black one. Your arse will suddenly look massive otherwise.
agreed
Yep. It will be some shade of black (gloss, matt, or a bit of carbon fiber shaped to fit)
Only thing that sucks is I ordered a few parts from America at the same time & one part is on back order, they said maybe 2 weeks back order, so looks like I will be waiting maybe 4 weeks till I get them. , Lucky its the middle of winter.
Few pics of my PAIR valve removal,
Don't need these
Got some PSR PAIR cover plates
So I have some massive weight savings
But the best bit is PSR made a production stuff up & printed there logo on the wrong side & machined the indentation on the wrong side, so I got my money refunded. I can still use them, just have to flip them over !

Made some CBR600rr stick coils
Bought new 600rr stick coils & 600rr wire harness
Cut the plugs from the VTR & CBR
Don't need the old VTR ugly coils
Cut the rubber from the VTR & swapped with the rubber from the CBR, had to shave the plastic ribs from the bottom of the CBR stick coils so the VTR rubber would fit
Ended up with this
Carbon fiber rear with undertray,
OEM vents are a different shape so I had to use mesh for the infills,
Got some tools to mount up the rear fairing, try & get it done tomorrow
You should come for the weekend to NFR
Thanks for the offer, I would like too, but....
Excuse # 1, I have Social phobia & the only person I have met before is Erno & Erno is not going.
Excuse # 2, A retarded mechanic fucked my bike, now every time the fan comes on the engine stalls & I don't think I can fix it myself in time, as I work 12 hour days and not really sure how to fix it.
Excuse # 3, I'm getting older & don't really want to do a long ride with clip ons & as with Excuse # 2, I don't think I will have time to fit my new front end with dirt bars in time.
Excuse # 4, I'm Lazy....
Excuse # 5, Not sure my wife would let me go even if I over came Excuse's # 1 - # 4.
Got the carbon rear fitted, not the best pictures as it was raining today,
I like that it has the undertray to neaten things up.
And I think undertrays look .

Front end swap next, on to do list !
Picked these up.
Radial-mounted front brakes.
they're some very pretty forks!
more titanium than my bike
This is coming along very nicely now. Good motivation for me.
Radial-mounted front brakes,
forks gimme gimme .....
Thanks Phantom.
I have been weighing parts as I go, so far I have reduced weight by 15kg, I hope my front end swap will continue to reduce more weight.
Driven Carbon Superbike bars,
After market top clamp, goes well with the Driven risers,
I have the OEM CBR1000rr top clamp but I couldn't figure out a easy, secure way to mount the risers, the after market clamp has a nice large flat spot that is perfect for a set of risers.
