Clearly my comment but said accidentally when not logged in. Damn iPhone....

I will however say that all I did was ask them to vote. Their comments etc were in response to something they clearly objected to.

It's like inviting your best mate to your wedding and expecting him not to have a crack at the bridesmaids while he's on the turps....

    Jarrod????

Anyway, I'm going to make an apology.

No excuse for what i said really, it sounded much funnier in my head and it was meant to be funny!!!!
It was WAY too harsh Jarrod.
    I'm sorry.

Now I'm off to apologise to my boss too, bit loose today...

The Zen of ASF is back to normal... A stock shitbox is at the bottom of the tally.

Hi guys, I'm a regular member over here at the M109 forum & normally I wouldn't take part in this sort of discussion but I have to say something because it's getting out of hand.

Firstly, you can't blame us M109 owners for jumping on this topic for a chance to hang shit on another forum, it's the only chance we get for some entertainment - god knows our Poo-levards don't provide any excitement when we ride them to the local Cafe on sunny Sundays.
You ASF guys have it so good you probably wouldn't understand how mind numbingly boring our forum is, Imagine having to wade through endless drivel about 1 make & model of bike from overweight, balding, middle aged, born-again tossers in the middle of a midlife crisis who think their new set of leather tassles are cooler than Fonzie himself... I swear I've nearly slit my wrists several times whilst reading new posts... & don't even get me started on our calender -

Jan. - Black couch with Staintunes.
Feb. - Black couch with Corbin seat.
March - Black couch with tankbag.
April - Black couch with H.I.D. lights.
May - Black couch with chrome airfilter housing.
June - Black couch with Ventura rack.
July - Black couch with stickers, spokey dokes & coloured streamers out the end of the grips. (That constitutes a wild custom over here)
Aug. - White couch with windscreen (we kicked that guy off the forum for being too 'out there')
    Sep. - Stock black couch.
Oct. - Another stock black couch.
    etc.

I can also explain the reason our guys are posting anonymously on your forum. You see, we're all pretty much chicken shits (that's why we ride cruisers) who are too insecure & scared too let you know our identities so we hide behind the 'unregistered' name so we can continue to make snide remarks & throw out pathetic baits like the proper keyboard warriors that we are. I know we're pathetic losers who ride lame bikes that don't go, stop or handle but we need to at least try to make ourselves feel good by kidding ourselves that people want to read what we write.

But we are good riders... honest, just look at Jarrod's lack of chicken strips!! He posted that pic with his chest all pumped out to impress you guys hoping none of you would know that you only have to lean a Boulabaise over about 12 degrees to get to the edge of the tyre - Jarrod is our best rider & we worship him like a god for being able to lean that far.

Speaking of Jarrod, I wonder why he still hangs around ASF even though he doesn't have a streetfighter... oh wait, I know.. it's because he still wants to pretend he's one of the Kool Kids instead of a bloke who rides a bike that he had to settle for because he couldn't afford a V Max or a Harley. It's a shame that he had to devalue your SFOTM comp with his attention seeking shit and even more of a shame that it backfired on him making all you ASFers think he's a fuckwit.

M109 owners - We LOVE the shaft.

But always remember, this is all just a harmless pisstaking joke between mates OK?

I take no offence in anything posted against me in this thread by anyone.

The ASF I joined years ago would have lots of piss taking and have it taken like a grain on salt. From some of the alter egos of Large and a few others who have made hilarious characters for new members ( I vaguely remember some latte sipping power ranger suit wearing fellow) but maybe the fun has been sucked out of some people who reside here.

Stop taking things so serious and have a laugh once in a while.

Yeah, I now choose to ride a tractor, which doubles as a couch clearly shown in the attached picture

But I will say that even though I ride a tractor, I was still at AFR this year in Casino hoping to catch up with some good mates

How did a stock bike make it in anyway:

    RULES:

    • The photo must be of your currently owned motorcycle
    • The motorcycle must be owned by you at the date of submission of the photo (a bike sale should not be affected by the running of this nomination)
    • The motorcycle can be built / modified by yourself or a professional BUT must have at least some input by yourself into the build (i.e. you didn't buy the bike EXACTLY as it is and have just polished it.)
    • Photo should be taken during the month of nomination / submission (one month prior to voting) to get people off their arses and into the shed etc. Any proof of date should be photographed in case of dispute by other nominee

I've got pics of my stock RZ500 I had in 1993. I might give it a crack next month.

At what point do bikes enter the non-stock class.

Airbox modification, engine case mods and other less obvious changes.

So if I removed a few pieces of body work, new headlight and got bar risers then you would deem it worthy?

Please accept my apologies Matty for using you to illustrate my point.

Airbox modification, engine case mods and other less obvious changes.

I modified my own airbox covers by hand and painted them myself, I painted numerous engine parts etc as well as having a few engine cases powdercoated on my behalf and installed by me. All good.

There were other internal mods but no point mentioning

Unlike some, I merely state my case without anger and purely questioning the thought processes. Afterall, I wouldn't want to go all Neanderthal on CCs arse as apparently it's beyond him lol

Do you want to make this personal, princess?
I have made legitimate points regarding a seemingly stock bike entered into a streetfighter of the month comp. Nothing more.

I thought an Mt 109 was some kind of Chinese thing. I spent a few with hours drinkin with The Z1. Mark and I sat down on thr floor next to her and went thru every detail of awesomeness. This bike was not cheap to buy or build, but the result is a credit to its re-creator . Massive talent and attention to detail. A pro builder would be envious of this result.

Davo, I whole heartedly agree having seen marks Z1 in person and also knowing marks abilities from other fantastic bikes too.

Z1 is a worthy winner this month from bikes offered.
