Yeah, this is a 2002 model too.

The original plan was to buy a tank and i'd have a full set of spare
trim for my 2004 for a trick paint job but to be honest its probabley
never going to happen and I cant afford to f*ck about with both bikes at the momment.

Missing the single seat hump and most panels are in pretty good to average condition apart from the 1 right lower that is repairable.

Would like to hold onto them, but, if I decide to shift some stock parts to raise funds later I will keep you in mind.

    Thanks.
Waiting to see where I can mount the fairing.
Dont think it will fit over the standard clocks,
might have to be lower or further forward,
    see when parts arrive.

    Now looking into rear-ends.
Something slim and raised, GSXR1000, R1, later SV sort of shape.
I thought of using a modified factory subframe, 1 piece track style bodywork and see if i could use my current oval yoshi's lay flat 916 style? Its just a though ? Going to measure a few bikes up tommorrow.

The new R6 tail is beautiful and very very slim. Even with the passenger seat its small.

Tony your Bus is coming along very nicely.

    Next Question...
Where do I get RENTHAL bars ?
Before you say it "NO" I dont want Fat-Bars / Pro Bars or what ever else.

Looking for Renthal, similar to Moto-X bars, but not stupidly wide, with or without the brace,
in Blue or Gold. Bought several sets in the UK. Dirt bike bars wont work. The set I put on Ellie's
put the master cylinder clamps on the bend which raised the levers at an angle.
(Dirt bike bars dont allow the extra room for switch gear)
I think Dez had a similar problem?

    Thanks Davo,
Stu offered me a deal on Fat-Bars and I have plenty of other
options. Really wanted the Blue or Gold Renthal "street bars" or whatever they are called. They sit and feel like 'crosser bars but
give you the extra bit for switch's.
Will give those folks a try. Thanks.

....and the worlds slowest project continues.....

$122 and 7 day's to get from the UK,
The Renthal 755mm "Streetfighter" bar i was after.

Might not use the brace-bar though, thinking of removing it.

If im not working Saturday I might start fitting them, might take a while,
I need to get the Grip's / Bar-ends / order new Plastic coated extended Goodridge clutch and brake lines and re-route or extend the wireing and get the new fairing and standard clocks re-mounted, then think about mirrors, and I hate bar end mirrors!

sfoc711uk, saw the fairing on an Ameican site,
    Its made in Germany,
    Stu on this site...

Got 3 and did me a good deal on one.

    a 1st finger tight mock-up with Renthals / Top yolk / Fairing.
    Lots to do yet....
Needs new Clutch and Brake hoses,
Fairing will be lower, re-fit clocks,
lots of tidying etc etc etc...

Yeah, I know its a crappy pic...
