Smile 1988 zxr zx-2r build, need help plzzz

This is my 88 zxr grey import, I haven't started modifying it yet as I have no idea where to start but I'm shorting exhaust soon and wanting to get it naked but I have ran into a problem, there is big dirty pipes coming out of the tank that join to the fairings,
Can anybody give me a idea on what I can do to make this baby even sexier?

    All help is appreciated

Currently I have the front fender removed ( after realising it was held on by 1 loose screw)
which I think looks better but worried a rock would break the radiator, is there a way around this problem?

You could go for a Dalek theme...

Are those hoses functional? ie they feed air through the tank to the airbox?

As for the radiator, you can buy a guard or get some of that alloy mesh the fully sick boys put on their intercoolers and make your own rad guard

You'll want to put your front guard back on about 3 seconds after you get caught in your first downpour.

I'd take some ideas from the larger sized Kwakas and adapt them to yours.

The hoses are not functional for some silly reason, I'd love to grab a tank off another zxr but unsure if they would fit

That is a great idea, I should be able to throw one together that grill mesh all those rice burners use
