Shit mate, sounds like you screwed yourself up big time. Good to see you back though. I'd like one of them 1290 as well. Saw a fair few at the TT and damn they grab your attention.

Yeh Gix11 fucked up pretty good like said to most rather broken my arms & legs than my back just in pain wise was like someone hitting your spinal nerve with a cattle prod droping you to your knees all time sweat pisssing out fighting the paine till it reseads, it fucken hurt - what happens when you take your mind off the job thinking of tea (dinner) brake. fell 5 mtrs onto my ass compressed my spine S1 S2 L4 L5 went through the usual quarter zone injections in the spine no difference , then nerve end burning in the spine lasted 2 weeks all this time for 1 yr sleeping on a tile floor on my guts all i could do had home help nurse type thing , then after 12 mths finally major surgury they found shattered 2 x vertebrae & 2 x discs , now got 2 x carbon fibre vertebrae
2 x imitation discs with a cage wrapped around them & Ti support rods either side. actually gained an inch in height. had learn to walk got through that rehab quick was determined but got few side effects but getting there , almost off the morphine except weather changes kills me need drop few tabs. nephews gave me the opportunity get in the work force again sitting in one his pine excavator harvesters & forwarders seems ok on the back "sitting better than standing no weight on my lower spine & hips" just waiting for a Sec32 payout that will pay for the 1290R then the modding begins.
