Paid. I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to attend this but if my payment helps get the numbers up then I'm happy to put that in. Will try and rearrange things and at least get up for the day though.

I would love to become a professional whistler. I'm pretty amazing at it now, but I wanna get, like, even better. Make my living out of it.

Only problem I have now is what bike to bring. Do I take the ZX7 cause is a fighter event or do I take the Busa cause its a drag day

Now to do some sweet talking with Russ or sniff out a few more guys from somewhere?
I have just had words with Russ and this event has been confirmed
BUT
Due to falling short in the rider numbers we are only able to start at 2pm not mid day and will go through till 8pm
Canteen/bar will be operational through out the day
As per every other year there is absolutely no BYO allowed under any circumstance. Part of the deal is we eat Russell's food and drink his beer as just out entries doesn't even cover the wages for his staff for the day and if he looses money out of the day we won't be allowed back next year.
I don't want to preach but I don't know if you guys understand just how lucky we are to be able to have a private event like this.
If we are not allowed back next year based on behavior this year there is no other track in Victoria that I know of that will even think about taking on a 20 bike event and allow us to camp on site to boot.
Keep an eye on this thread for updates
So should we be happy with what we got (riders) or do we look outside the club for others ?
Lets not fuck this up guys.
I have a great time at this event (as I'm sure you do as well) and we need to make something of it.
Hopefully we can make it bigger and bigger.
If we can get a few more that's great but we can go ahead with current numbers
There isn't too much fine print to read but a few Q's to clarify.
1. Wet weather / wash out. Will there be a postponed event, refund or cancellation with forfeit of monies? or cross that bridge when we get to it?
2. $130 is the only cost with no CAMS or MV license / fee to pay?
3. Scrutineering....Just so there aren't any tantrums on the day what are the minimal requirements as set out by the operators of Heathcote?
4. Is it one entry fee for as many bikes as you can fit in a semi trailer or is the entry fee payable per bike? ( only ask for others that had this issue on the first event)
5. Who is doing the pizza run? Or is there deep fried catering into the night? Perhaps we could make it easier on the venue by taking orders late afternoon so they dont have wastage or staff hanging around. (?)
6. So there are no surprises whats the grog cost so that sufficient cash can be on hand? - I know previously that beer was at RSL prices but those carrying handbags whinged about the cost of Stolli.
7.Why the fuck isn't everyone on this?
Having been at the first event and seeing a very large and extremely angry owner of the Venue in his tattered grundies screaming over the PA at a naked ferret performing a skid near the bar it should be abundantly clear that under no circumstances should any engine be started at the conclusion of the days event.
As Deano put it.....Respect to the venue for having us. Anyone that fucks this up may find themselves down any one of the numerous mineshafts located around the area.
