I really like the way this man goes about building bikes

I like his style, but why can't they build something that you look at and think, I could get on and have some fun on that?
Looking at that, you would have burns on the inside of your leg within 2 minutes, your toes would be ripped off by the chain, and the forks look like they have about 20mm of travel.
I like shit to look good, but I'm more a function over form sorta guy, especially when it comes to bikes.

You wouldn't be able to ride it for long enough to see if it handled well.

I'm not talking comfort, I'm talking about the exhaust position. It would be burning the inside of your leg.

Fuck you'd have to be seriously pigeon toed for that to happen.
Sort the forks, throw some heat wrap on the pipe, job done.

I realise that, but the point I'm trying to make is, if you are spending so much time on a build, why not do it right in the first place?

I have to agree with you tony, it's the one thing that these type of builds really
shits me. Love the style but like any machine it has to work

He seems to manage on some of his less ergonomically friendly builds, all show bikes, all thrashed..

I rekon that ktm would handle mint, he never uses anything less than ohlins best, and he didn't make those forks, they did. Also, every dirtbike i've ever owned has had header pipes run straight passed the leg in the same spot, ive been burned by them exactly zero times..

He's an ex US 250GP champ, so he's pretty handy on a bike.
