I had this conversation with Supercharger before. He bought a Zed for $4k and by the end the only part of it he used was the front half of the frame and gearbox (or something similar). He said to me "Well that seemed to be a waste of money and a pain in the arse", but I explained to him how he enjoyed every part of the build, it took him 6 months of shed time that he loves, he loved the challenge and loves the result. How is that money not spent well?? He's never complained since.

Yea, and imagine what you will have at the end of it! Just start turning some coin in the meantime with what you have to make it easier.

Little by little I have si, finding the right people with the right projects who are willing
to spend coin on what the real cost of quality is, is the hard part tho in all honesty I haven't
    been pushing it very hard

I made a 1000 mile move about 6 years ago and unfortunately sold off a large chunk of my shop equipment to accommodate the move. Still in the rebuild process, but it's a slow effort. Don't have the luxury of a pole barn like the old days

1000 mile move? For work? That's a fair old haul.

Yes sir. For work and nicer riding weather here in the US. I was sick of losing 4-5 months each winter being buried 3 feet deep in snow

Here in the states. From Wisconsin which is in the upper midwest along the great lakes down to North Carolina

Wisconsin has a yearly average snowfall of 52.4 inches (133 cm) while in NC we rarely see it except for crazy storms that might come over the mountains.

Plus NC provides amazing riding year round

    Yea, what Lynton said.

I was in Chicago in February expecting some serious cold, and they had the warmest February on record! Even then it was pretty cold, so I can imagine what Wisconsin was like.

Those roads look a bit like roads over here that we know. Good call mate.
