    Jimmy switch to a std road tyre and ride around the burn out pad next time :-)

    +1, extra grip off the line is the least of your worries on stock wheelbase.

    Unless your running in the 10's and struggling with wheelspin forget
    the burnout and work on your reaction / clutch / launch and shifts.
    There about 2 seconds that could be shaved off with practice.
