    83 gsx750zr suzaki

Ive started the stripdown on the gsx and swapping ove rthe front and hopefully rear end off a zx6r 96. i like the air cooled motors and will keep that in its frame with a few upgraes for handling and braking in a cafe style bike.... unless i change my mind or run out of munny or patience.

heres a picor two so farClick image for larger version.

Triple clamp - done. frame jig - in progress.......... and looking at the vroom dept now. i like the air cooled but if anyone had a 750 oiler for sale id consider that as well., but it would need to be a going concern with pipes and carbs.

started sorting out the frame today. clamped the frame in the jig. and cut the bottom cross member out of it. then cut the top one to allow the frame to open evenly across the swingarm brackets. slipped the swingarm in and tacked in the new bottom cross member. photos to come along soon.

picked up a 89 gsxr 750. 90% there so im tossing up whether to keep it as is and street it , or use the motor in the now widened gsx frame, if i keep it as is ill need a few bits like a sidestand ( previous owner was using it for a trackbike) and a headlight assembly. ill post up a list over in the classified section when i make up my mind.
