When I got back from Tassie I thought it would be cool to be able to take my girlfriend Nicole on rides with me also, so I have now put pillion pegs on the wretched... Doesn't look toooo bad.

Also I have been experimenting with polishing the tank, similar to a lot of old cafe racers. I think I've discovered a wax spray that stops the tank from rusting. All I need now is someone who can help me pop the dings out and metal finish.

I realised I hadn't used my favorite tool for a while so out came the grinder and I trimmed the headlight a little.

Sorry guys, no turbo, buts that's all I got

When I was a kid I knew this guy that had a Triumph Triton. He had polished all the ally and chromed the tank and frame, when the sun was on it, it looked like it had gone supernova. That bike was fuckin awsome, bliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing***

You're looking good mate, keep polishing.

The wax is called "Corrosion Guard" by Echo Lube
you spray it on and after a few hours everything evaporates except for a thin film of wax. It remains slightly sticky for a day or so but I rode the bike in the rain Saturday night and the tank didn't have any surface rust at all on Sunday morning. When you want to give the tank a bit more of a polish I just spray the tank with a degreaser and the wax just wipes off.

Taken at AFR 10. Polished tank was put in shed and replaced with spare tank for ride and bike painted hammertone charcoal. But realisticly it is more grey in colour.

Next is replace radiator with ZX7R radiator, fix water pump and maybe tinker with the clutch a little.
Would love to get a set of Carrozeria wheels buts thats a pipe dream at the moment.
