Quite a few of you would have seen this old nail in the past. Looks standard but is far from it. Started off life as a standard GSXR1100L year 1990 first production bike to have USD forks.

Shit loads done to the engine and running parts so here is a few pics. Yeah i know its still got its clothes on but that is the way it is staying co's i like it

Don't meen to poopoo but the 1100 L had conventional forks it was the 750 L to have the USD front end in the L year.

Quite a few people make that mistake, the 1100L was the first to have USD forks and released in England not Australia, You are quite right in what you said but that applies to the Australian market probably some others maybe. The ozzie 1100L of 1990 did in deed have conventional forks the same as the K model.

Hey davo you can rest in the knowledge that this old bus is still kicking ass today, (mostly mine when i get it wrong ha ha ) I still ride it like i stole it past lots of newer stuff round the roads i know only to well. Nothing like hanging it out round the outside of the latest power ranger with my back wheel dancing an all

The amount of polished pieces on this frightens me, the main reason being if it was mine it would all be black because I'm too fucking lazy to keep it all nice and shiney....

    Similar to mine, Love it!

I had it set up as a Fighter but put it back to virtual stock just recently.

My mate has the same model as yours but conventional forks.

Yeah at first it was a right kunt to keep shiny. I found out that putting some wax based paint polish on the polished ally keeps it shiny even when it gets rained on,
