Good work Bob. My very first bike when i was about 14 years old was a GS250T which was basically the same bike as yours with smaller pistons and a more rounded cruiser shape tank. Used to hoon round the farm on it with bald road tyres and no front brake haha..........They were the days.
Later me and mate turned it into a sort of motard, with MTX125 front end and jacked up rear. Handled like shit (really soft forks gave lots of diving and weaving under engine breaking) but was great fun and looked kinda cool. Then when i was about 20, i used another GSX250 (looked just like yours but smaller engine) as a donor for a little single seat space frame buggy for my younger brother. That was real good fun and had plenty of go as those engines red lined at about 11000rpm haha.
Anyway, keep the pictures coming and enjoy doing it your way. I gave up with deadlines and finish dates long ago. Nearly impossible when family's are thrown into the mix so get too concerned about them.
Cheers
Keep chipping away at it mate. It's starting to come together well.
