    vfr800 sssa on CBR 900 RR SC33 98-99.

    Hello guys ! Just wondering if anybody here done this conversion (im sure somebody did ).
    I came across a complete vfr800i swingarm , and I want to put it on my blade.
    From the mesureings , I do neet tu cut about 25mm from the arm.
    Shock linkage is the same, just need to get it in line.
    Any advice would eb appreciated.

    what year is it off...u need the early 800 swingarm..the newer one{2002 on} are no good for this
    there too wide,,,i just done this and all you need to do is take the arm down to 260mm
    by taking it off the right hand side(not the chain side) also take 4 or 5mm off of the right side of the frame boss
    the one with the screw in spacer.you need to make up a spacer to sit in between the middle of the swingarm too to fill the gap
    if you know what I mean.

    The swingarm comes from a v-tec 800 2003, therefor its much wider then the previous models.
    I kinda got the idea, i'll start working on the bike next week, and I'll get back with the progress here.

    So , in the mean time a came across an sssa from a VFR 750 91, the one with the wrong linkage :P.
    Did a custom linkage, and initial testing is good.
    Used the stock rear shock from the 900, a rocker form an 600 F3, and the outcome is that the bike is about a inch taller at the backside.
