Free is good for fimp not so good for me, got to finace my own dinner let alone Kat builds. Working for myself has its bonuses but till things get a better move on there are some down sides to not pulling a wage from some asshole.

PS fimp I got spare dyna s pickups, plate, magnetic rotor, and 2 good green coils. Make me an offer .

The pickups are all pritty much the same , the rotor is a little different for different makes. The rotor i have is off a 1100 suzuki so should fit , if it doesnt wont take much to make fit I'm sure, It bolts into advance mech. The pickups bolt to a Ali backing plate (not sure what its off originally) I had it on Kwaka 1100 running meth will prob screw to your donk easy enough.

    Not a Kat but close

My Harris is getting the 1170 treatment

Changing out the leaky old clapped out 40mm slides for a set of old fashioned 750 gixxer flat slides to make it really torquey through the middle.

    Yoshi love

I reckon it'll back on the road in a fortnight, procrastinators!

I don't know if anyone else has dropped out, but I managed to locate yet another project bike.

Mine's going to be an '82 (might count as an '83 model) Katana 1000.

Planning to do a "stock" Katana with period mods- 33mm Smoothbores/ wire wheels/ McIntosh swingarm etc.

I'm still not sure if I'm in or out. I thought I was in, but the guy that who needed a couple of weeks to get cash together to buy one of my bikes, never got back to me and seeing as its been months now, I don't think he is really buying it. That leaves the katana fund pretty low....
