Hey FIMP i'm pretty sure i have a katana manual and also a setup manual of which the dealers used to use when they pre-deliveried the bikes when they came from Japan. If you like i'll send to SNAP printing and see if they can copy. E-mail me if you are interested. In the meantime i'll go searching. I've also got sketches from Mick Hone? i think which shows you where to strengthen the frame. I'm pretty sure it's the same detail Mick Hone used for Robbie Phillis' superbike in the swann series back in the 80's.I had a monoshocked Kat at one stage one of those bikes i should never had sold!!!!

http://www.oldskoolsuzuki.info/ might have a katana manual, there is a whole section on their site dedicated to them, was a great help with info on my 711 and they have all the early gsxr manuals there.
