So Deano made the suggestion that all us mexicans get together for a bit of a pissup/ride weekend.

It seems to me that a lot of people (myself included) are not going to some events mainly due to funding, therefore i reckon we do this based out of someones house, that way there's no accomodation cost and we can all just chuck in and eat BBQ food for the weekend, so it should be pretty much only fuel costs.

I'm happy to do it at my house (or maybe my folks place depending on how many people decide to come) which is in Bairnsdale. For those that don't know, There are a heap of good roads about halfa from here, and they generally don't have a huge amount of traffic or police presence, so they're perfect for having a little fun.

I'm open to suggestions of other locations and dates. at this stage i'm thinking that mid-late feb - early march would be the shot.

Let's make something happen. I've only ever ridden with a couple of us peeps on the road and it would be nice to get out on the roads with more of you lot.

TENTATIVE PLAN:

WHEN: 9-10 march or 16-17 march

WHERE: Bairnsdale, accommodation and food/drinks at my house.

RIDING: Full day loop up over Mt. Hotham... if it's still there after tomorrow morning.

I was thinking more like a similar format to NFR. Get to mine on Friday arvo/night (Only 3ish hours from Melbourne) have a couple of quiet ones, ride all day Saturday, drink more Saturday night, fuck off when you all feel alive on Sunday.

problem with that is that the good roads between Melbourne and Bairnsdale are fairly spread out. from about Traralgon onward there are good roads, but even those are linked up with some very long straight ones. we could possibly meet in Traralgon, ride to Licola, then to Bairnsdale the back way, they maybe up to Dargo or something, then to bairnsdale for the beers and the eating

This is why I usally ride to NFR , 3 hours to far to ride after work ? Sat would be less trouble ? If you want to do a "VFR" DO IT ! or just go for a ride on a sat and be done with it. I'd come for the Victorian version of NFR or AFR Fri sat sun deal .
