    first in best dressed

ok i reckon ill kick things off with a kernel of an idea ive got .

im hopefully getting a pretty naff GT750 engine from the states soon and as Streetfighter lore goes ..using whats available going to try and shoehorn it into a GSXR 250 rolling chassis that danny in Rockhampton has ..this should be erm fun .....if at all possible ..ive seen an H1 500 in LC frames [mr 2 stroke himself built that one Stan. Stephens} H2 750 in a Gixer400 chassis back in the UK and a beautiful GT750 in what looks like a Harris frame belonging to none other than Filth but i rekon a mini slingshot with a water cooled 750 in it should be a right goer

stock HP at the crank from the old girl is a paltry 67 hp but im sure we can coax a few more ponies out of it

so anyone got 3 flatslides ?lol
    by for now .......
before i leave ......pop quiz where did Suzuki get there 2 stroke technology from ?

    Yea, MZ.

Phill told me he read a book on the guy from MZ who raced a 50cc 2 stroke at the TT in the early 60's an blew everyone's minds. Suzuki tried to copy his stuff but couldn't match it.

nice one you two and ta il read that book ...Ernst Debner defected to the west from east germany in the sixties taking with him MZs scavenging port technology also his colleagues expansion chamber design and a theorectical design for rotary valves ..
just think if things had been different we couldve been cheering on an MZ in the 1976 500gp!

Got several "Suzuki" books, this one is worth a look too,
covers all the early road race bikes (not dirt) and go's from
the first pushbikes with tiny engines racing around Mt Fuji
and getting beaten, to the MZ connection up to Sheene and
the story behind the huge off at Daytona.

Got a little project on the starting blocks bit on the nuts side TF125 stocker going to shove a T500 motor in it and turn it into a bobbed chopper and reg on club rego for kicks. Anyone have specs for a set of expansion pipes for a stock ported T500 ? Hydroformed pipes would look nice and i just found a nice pump that wil go to 1600 psi
