Trike frame in the UK.
Was being used by the guy's wife,
found when it was stripped down and sandblasted.
It shits me how hard it is to get frame work past the rta but here is a perfect picture of why it should be........
with welding like that im guessing it isnt straight either

my quess is stick, out side, in the dark, with his eyes closed thinking of how best to nock the old girl off....
omg shit! not good
It proves just how strong a shit weld can really be. The fact that it didnt break..
Used to see lots of that when I worked on choppers regularly, cover it with a bit of filler, some nice paint and she's all good.
What you can't see can't hurt you
Excuse my ignorance but aren't there something like progress checks or stage checks to get signed off before bogging or painting? The "weld" will most likely be covered with something eventually so how can anyone verify the integrity? As I said earlier, bit new to bike fabrication. Let the piss taking begin. Lol.
GSX1400 Need I say more? Probably, yes.
Ed you'd be supprised what passes for ok on the roads in parts of Europe , even here in Aus dodgie bikes are about (just look at some of my heaps)
Lol, have to take your word for what yours are like Red. Then again, different states have different rules. I'm guessing if the frame number matches the paperwork then you're good to go. Sounds like the start of another thread, let's not go there. Just stay away from welders with glad wrap masks, muppets.

Holy shit! That guy must not only not have welded before, but must never have seen another weld even. Fuckin' scary!
I drop over n look over some welding of armour plate to see stuff I woulnt be happy with the bloke responsable for it, quote "welder from the old country" "My father and grandfather were welders and so am I" Me "I'm not riding in that fucker"
