    Valiant, the mistress

Well i have a couple of bike projects on the go and in between times this is my mistress or bit on the side

    Its a 1966 VC valiant

It had a mild 318 v8 in it

but thats made way for a 340 Hemi

ive found a complete original 6 pack setup for the intake electric water pump to go on and some other trick bits and pieces should see circa 400 ponies which will be a start

but like everything, now the motors out and weve started on the front suspension ive found a mob in the states that does coil over and rack and pinion front crossmembers ..... where will it end, just dont tell the wife

You've broken rule #6 in the Mopar Modifiers handbook there Mike,

#6 - Thou shalt not refer to a non Hemispherical Combustion Chamber engine as a Hemi (unless thou wants to look like a Wood Duck)

Sweet VC, the 6 pack will be an interesting setup - keep us posted.

Scotty will be along shortly with his Missus' wagon.

Mate used to have a huge old val 2 door coupe , dont know shit about em from memory might have been a VF had a concave rear window and was long as. Had a 6 in it but sold it with a 318 suitable for rebuild, for about $800 needed a full resto but at the time I though he was mad selling it so cheap. I told him I would have given him double just to keep it in the shed till I was ready.

Saw this one at the local drags a few months back. Best one I think I've seen. Exhaust out the front guard too.

How cool were Mopar's names for stuff - Charger, 6 pack, Challenger, Max Wedge, Fireball, Pacer, Daytona, Fury, Magnum... the list goes on.
Edit - The 6 pack Edelbrock setup is sweet, what do you do for aircleaner(s)?
