    Dirt bike Rad dimensions

    G'day fellas

got a couple of clearance issues after fitting up the turbo with clearance between radiator and front wheel on fork compression so thinking about using a couple of smaller rads either side of the turbo instead of the standard one across the width of the front - for anyone that has a dirty with dual rads could you take some approx dims for us (eg CR/KDX/KTM/YZ etc) L x W x H - trying to work out which will potentially have the closest capacity to the stocker and will go from there

    Any other suggestions also welcome

    Cheers
    Watto

Just thinking out loud but as standard Speedies run quite hot and with a turbo fitted will likely run very fuckin hot. Might you need to fit an additional radiator as well?
I wanted to build a bike that looked like the bikes I grew up with-the bikes I lusted after as a kid A BIKE WITH A FUKKIN WIDE ENGINE AND GERT BIG FINS-full of trick bits and oozing torque and horsepower-naturally it was a GSX Suzuki-

    Gday Simon

as not running a lot of boost and not plumbing the cooling into the turbo shouldnt be a big problem as such

Check out a mob called winner_racing on ebay, they're a Chinese company who make one off radiators. A mate used them for his Valkirie project, and gave me the details. I used them for a custom made alloy radiator on my latest project, really good service, custom made to the exact spec I asked for, and shipped to my door for $220US, (£144) I emailed them a drawing on the Monday evening, and had an email back within 40 minutes asking me to confirm the thread pitch on the fan switch boss as I'd given a different pitch in the drawing to the one in the email, then the next morning (Tuesday) I had another email telling me it was done and on its way, and would be with me in 5 to 7 working days, along with the tracking number and a link to the tracking website, it arrived 8 days later the following Wednesday. Fuckin' brilliant service.
If you can supply a drawing in AutoCAD it will reduce the price by $100US £60, but the guy who offered to do the AutoCAD drawing here in the UK wanted £100 so it was cheaper to let them convert my line drawing into AutoCAD.
The quality is spot on, and it is very well made, it was pressure tested prior to shipping and came with a newly made ally thread bung with O ring in the fan switch boss.
They are a really good company to deal with and the guy I dealt with called David Wang writes English very well, better than some of my former students in the UK in fact!!!
No spelling mistakes or grammatical errors in any of the several technically based emails I exchanged with him over a two week period discussing my requirements. I wanted a specific sized core thickness of 40mm rather than the more common 26mm or 52mm, which would normally have taken them a couple of weeks, but after I tweaked my design a little it was done really quickly. By way of comparrison a UK based company quoted me £435 ($661US) delivered with a 4 week lead time, and having seen the quality of the radiator they made for my mate it was a no brainer really.
