    Wink Yuma's Zx9R

    Hey Guys.

Heres a few shots of my 9. Finally got around to getting some work done on it yesterday.
A few more days in the shed and it'll be getting there.

From this when I got it :

now with carbon duc monster front guard, risers and carbon fat dragbars:

then braided brake lines and wave type headlight on (puts out a good amount of light too):

just gotta get the mask on and decide on paint scheme. but I'm just gonna paint it all matt black to start with till i work it out.

Thanx Rod, I'm happy with the progress so far. A mate gave me a 06 zx6r tail fairing and rear seat cowl that I'm thinking about using, the 9 seat should fit it and I'll make the rest fit the 900's subframe some how. Wish mine had a bolt on subby, it'd make life heaps easier.
Im thinking Gun Metal grey with heaps of metal flake for the main colour with blood red old school hot rod type pinstriping. With satin black frame, swinger and donk.

Have you done the airbox/float vent pipe modification yet? The ZX9Rs don't run too well above about 50mph unless the float chamber vent pipes are fed into the airbox to equalise the presure in the airbox and float chambers. I've done quite a few 9Rs on my dyno over the years. Take the OEM stuff off the float vents, and then run two short lengths of suitable dameter rubber hose off them, drill a couple of holes in the underside of the airbox, and run the hoses through then slash cut them and face the cut to the front of the airbox, and it will cure the fuel starving issues apparent on these bikes when the Ramair is removed.

How's the light spread with the mask on? Is the headlight e-marked?

Also, where did you get those bars from?
