I think your bigest issue with that unit is the speedo IS cable operated , does it have adustability for speed correction ? If not your speedo correction will be a pain in the ass.

Is there such a thing as cable operated tacho??
You can see it has a square hole in it for, what i would think is a pretty normal thing for a speedo cable.
I thought tacho's sometimes just had a wire that you'd wrap around your leads to pick up up pulse,to get a tacho reading??

Im no mechanic......so could probably be wrong tho....

Older bikes had cable operated tachs (late 70's / early 80's).

It probably is for a speedo though - you're right nick about most of the aftermarket gauges having a wire you wrap around the coil HT lead.

^^^^^^All this cable stuff was before my time......tinkering with bikes anyway!! lol.

Out of curiosity,i emailed the supplier....and it is a cable operated tacho.......tho,having said that, the first time i asked if it was a cable tacho or speedo, and the reply i got was just "YES"!!
Then I'd asked againWhich one is it,is it a cable operated speedo, or cable operated tachometer, and they replied cable tachometer!!!.
im scared if i ask again,i might get a different reply???? lol

Goodluck with it bluedrags.....that is if you actually bought one???

Hey Blue, I have my old vapor dash off my fighter. If you ever come get the 750 system from me, you can have that aswell. Its even set up for your bike already so you wont have an issue fitting it. The only thing is you'll have to set up the idiot lights like oil pressure, high beam and stuff. PM me if your interested.
