GSXR1100 '92 USD Bottom Fork Diameter

Always thought it was 54 but bought some triples to fit and well fuck me surprise surprise measure the forks prior to stripping just to check and forks currently fitted to bike measure 56???

750 Slingy are 50mm top 54mm bottom, whereas the 1100 slingy are 52mm top and 56mm bottom

I discovered that 1992 GSXR1100 USD forks are a greater diameter by a couple of mm than the TL1000s ones I did have fitted to my slabbie. So I ended up having to swap entire tripples etc off the 1100 also.

But it's ok cos I made a better job of polishing the tripple clamps second time round anyhow
