New clocks dont suit mine, looks all "empty" between
the hadlight and bar's. Will give it some thought but might just
leave it and use it as transport and work on something else.

Im OK for an exhaust thanks.
Got a Yoshi Cyclone full system.

My comment about "the pipe" was aimed at Large's pic,
the HUGE factory can I think he has on for its safety Cert inspection.

I've got a Yoshi Cyclone system (If Serco ever get back to me with a price for a skin) to go on, with a PCIII, bar end mirrors and some of those Titax levers from Ben after it gets regoed. I want to keep it, but I'm enough of a realist that if someone offers the right money- I'll take it.

I never intended to sell the last one, but old mate comes over to look at my TTR tard and saw the 14 and made an offer for both that I couldn't refuse.

The only reason that 18" cannon is on is to get registered.

Yeah, along with the Cyclone mine has a power commander and slightly
lower gearing. Seem's to go OK, must be almost as good now as a 250cc
smalled EFE that they produced 30 years a go !!

    Have you ridden one yet?

They dont rev like a GSXR/Busa, but the fucking grunt they have could pull a caravan.

That's why I'm leaning towards using my other 1400 moteur in my buggy project.

Ridden several over the last few years.
Done a few bike swaps on rides and had a few "test" rides on this one.
Great for distance, pillions, lazy rides, heaps of grunt.
Wasnt impressed with brakes, top end performance or handling at speed

Both my Busa and King run 10.3's, i'd be suprised if this is close.
Maybe it will be if I can learn to use the torque and not look for horsepower ?

It should be registered soon. I'll stick some K's on it and give it some thought.
Worst case is it'll be my "sensible" bike and I can re-do the Busa
with a better tail and smaller clocks etc and use the Busa as a toy.

Bri Harper called around and did me a safety Cert this morning.

Off to Qld Transport to register it, collect new plate, woman
behind the counter was being an arse because Bri and I both
listed the mileage as 000001.0 k's (new clocks)

    Eventualy got a new plate.

Phoned Shannon's and added it to my policey
(including Yoshi / Powercommander / KOSO etc)

    Out to play.

I like the clocks but NOT how they look.
    They can stay for now.

Go's OK. front came up a couple of times, easier than I remember.
Never ridden one in anger with lower gearing /pipe / etc before.

Speedo seems quite close with a quick check on my phone's
Diablo Biker ap. Will check it with a GPS. Will have another look
at the fuel guage setting, clock said half when it was almost empty,
might need to play with that.

Feels as good as, or maybe better than the B-King for grunt/torque,
clutch is nicer the the B-King, brakes feel like Gen1 Busa (poor to average)

Motors a little noisey top end, not going to worry untill its had a service.

I went to the RTA on Friday.

Spent about an hour at the counter with the nice lady who (to her credit) said this bike can't be registered, but you have two letters from us that state it can so she asked and rang around a bit.

The last call to the Inspection unit got a "to do" list from them, including 3 forms to fill in. I actually had 2 of the forms already printed out to hand to her. All good and I pay my $455 for the VIIU inspection and leave after being told I will be called to book in an inspection.

I get a call this morning from an inspector to book in the bike, I ask if I can book it in on a tuesday or wednesday so I can get the day off and he says he can come to me today- quick call to the boss and I have the day off.

So to cut a long story short- He's Been, He's Seen, He's Approved and stamped everything. I just have to wait for him to do the paperwork at the RTA end and I should be good to pay another ~$500 and get her registered.

So the standard mirrors and levers go back into the box for the next time I need to rego a bike. Exhaust is next.

I had a chat with the inspector afterwards about my other bikes, and the only bad (maybe good) news I got was that I didn't have until the end of Jun '13 to register the ZX10...they've bought the date forward to register any writeoffs to Jan31 2013!!!

Unless I apply again and do the whole dance around shit.

    Maybe...

    Or not...

    or...

Geez that's a big exhaust, it makes the rest of the bike look tiny.

Nice bike though, when I got the zrx the gsx was just a bit too much.
    Maybe I'll get one next.
