A Penney for your Dreams Charity Ride Event

Gold Coast and Brisbane, Qld - Saturday 17th March, 2012
Motorcycle, Car enthusiasts and the general public are invited to enjoy the activities of the Penney for your Dreams Charity Ride Event. The charity ride commences from two locations, Ducati Gold Coast (Nerang) and Springwood Suzuki joining into one group at Oxenford and from there travelling to the Historic Rivermill in Mt Nathan and has been offered Police Motorcycle support. All motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome to participate in the ride.
This is a family event . There are no admission costs at the Rivermill. The ride commences at 9am and the activities at the Historic Rivermill run from 12midday to 4pm. Activities will include: live entertainment, sausage sizzle, charity auctions and raffles of goods and services generously donated by businesses on the Gold Coast and Brisbane, petting zoo, turtle feeding. The Gold Coast Muscle Car Association is providing 30 classic performance cars from Australia and America for display such as the Torana GTR-XU1, Falcon GTHO and many more.
All monies raised go to the Starlight Children’s Foundation, whose aim is to brighten the lives of all seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families throughout Australia. The Starlight Childrens Foundation relies on community support to make this possible through granting children’s wishes and by creating laughter, joy and happiness within the hospital wards. This event was created to remember a fellow rider, Myles Penney owner of Ducati Gold Coast since 1999, who passed away after a long battle with cancer, and to have his memory remind us all of what is important in life.
