I've got an ultrasonic cleaner that's good at cleaning carbs if you're interested
Hmmmm ultrasonic could be the go, i may take you up on that once i get rego....
If you run sea foam through the fuel system it won't affect the clutch at all Pete. you could add a 50 to 60ml per tank and it will help the carbs/injectors from what I have read.
You can make it yourself.
Seafoam is made up of the following:-
50% Pale Oil (refrigerant mineral oil or 2 stroke oil will do)
30% Naptha (Zippo lighter fluid or camping stores)
20% Isopropyl Alcohol (Bunnings)

If the engine is getting tired & carboned up its simply time to take it apart & clean & rebuild, Same with the carby/s
