the unholy tank cap fabbing story.
initially designing the cap, i wanted to cut out a pentagram from titanium and to put it inside the circle. but of late a happy idea has come into my head to buy a pendant big enough. the inner circle dia is 66mm lol and ive been looking for the pendant of that size, but closest to that size was 55mm, so i bought it. its stainless steel and 9mm thick in the center, so i tapped m4 hole in it. cut off the ear and filed out and polished the spot a bit. the end of story.

    fabbing the safety bars

the both bars shrunk for 3mm in the upper points of Y, so i streched em out

started fabbing a sub subbie, the subbie enhancer with foot pegs and luggage rack. its just a tilt for the existing subbie and can be removed for a coupla mins

have had a scate board spare wheels and bearings for years, bought em for my home made wheelie bars (so far unused alas lol), so i decided to use them as sliders, the bearings will allow to slide longer

ally spacers and 9 mm rods of semi stainless heat treated steel for axles

the stock gear shift rod was bent and its treads were fucked up, so made a new one from an 8 mm arti aged ally rod

been desperate about where to place the horn, every things so tight, but another happy idea has come to me to put it under the fan, now it belongs there, looks like a duck beak on many dragsters.
dont curse me for putting on the stereo and additional gauges (oil pressure and temp), nope, im not building a honda gold wing, but its nice to shoot road movies accompanied by merry black metal tunes

concerning the long long waited start up, i tried but fucked up, the spark is missing, although 2 weeks ago it was present in the test mode, trying to sort it out asap

10 ys have passed since the project had been started and 5.5 ys since it was suspended due to the fact that i wasnt able to get the bike running and had no idea why. a lot of shit has happened since then, in april 2018 my sheds were destroyed and plundered, i lost nearly all my tools and equipment, from a drill to frame jig fixture made of ally, generators, welders, compressor, many car and bike parts. my cars were damaged by an excavator and vandalized, barely saved my bikes from stealing. police found no corpus delicti, as well as other authorities. after all you cant expect them to judge themselves. long story short, i had no time for bike projects for 2 ys, restoring my cars. the bikes were in my flat coz i didnt have sheds and rented one for repairing my car. then, in april 2020 covid came and we all were self isolated, so id finally got the time for bikes. decided to split the b12 engine to see whats wrong. the cam chain was a tad loose, everything else looked normal

then the ride had to be laid aside again until now and this time its gunna be finished
the engine was splinted in halves coz i suspected that the tensioner guide blade was damaged. but it wasnt so. also i wanted to replace the cam chain, but when i compared the old and new ones, they were of the same length, but the new one, chinese kmc, looked more soggy, so i put in the old one

assembling the clutch suddenly ive heard "crack!". removed the basket and was utterly shocked and upset. and mad as hell. i really did everything carefully, the the construction of the bloody basket... looking for a replacement on the net, ive found out that its disposable, every one seems to break it

guess im the only bloke in the world that has 2 turbo bikes in the living room. actually there are 4 of them, the 3rd one is in the box UNDER the b12 engine and the 4th one is BEHIND the box

also fitted the turbo blanket which i bought a coupla ys ago. so i ever forget none of my projects, just dont have time to dedicate it to each of them in full, but keep doing smth now and then for every project. gradually is the word

    ... when its re assembling.
weeks and months of designing and fabbing parts are squeezed into minutes and hours
im always amazed how many parts are out and about when a bikes disassembled, and how unnoticeable they are having been installed.

how ever the wiring is ready to be installed , will leave it for tomorrow, the bike cant be started any way coz of my fuck up with oil pump drive gear, hopefully it'll be sorted out soon
