    Riding in 2012

Just putting it out there to see if anyone/everyone would like to go on a few more organized rides next year.
See I would like to step up the SEQ ASF ride scene next year, and I'm puting out some feelers to see who's intrested so I'm throwing a few ideas out....however open to any suggestions as well. Here are a few options, some we have done before and worked well.....so cast your vote........

I meant to do the Nov 1770 run again this year but due to
money and moving it never happened. Done 3 with ASF and
had a ball. Doesnt have to be in November though.

I normaly just do lots of day run's....
    # Farmers Arms via Mt G and Esk,
    # Bruxner Hwy via Lion's Rd and Casino,
    # Malaney over Mt Mee,
    # Around Somerset Dam to Kilcoy,
    # Queen Mary Fall's from Peaks crossing / Boonha.

Nah, it's only a couple of fingers width away on the map and anyway Km's are shorter than miles

Hey Mono, it'll be good to catch up on some of these rides. I'll try to get to as many as possible so if you want to head up regular or at least more frequant rides this would be great. I'll support that.

He's keen to do some rides.
Told him to join up here.

I like this idea. I'm thinking Airlie Beach Via Toowoomba (You can pick up the Toowoomba boys like Harry, DC Racing and I on the way through), and head up there via Monto, Gayndah, Biloela (Meet the Gladstone boys here) on up over Mount Morgan and into Rocky. We can then take the scenic loop via Emerald to Muckeye or run the boring as fuck Marlboro stretch. I'll leave that open for debate.

But I'm in assuming of course we do it around Easter time. Why Easter? gives me the ability to have the Wifey at her folks place with the kids and time off Uni etc etc plus number 6 won't be born then so I'm a shot at a leave pass for a week or so of we take a couple of days wandering up and down.

I'll be in for as many as I can. This year I'm studying though, so that will probably restrict me a little.

Ladies and Gentelmen, take my advise. "Pull down your pants and slide on the ice."

Ok i've got some plans happening some soon some down the track .
Will post all rides/meet ups here so they are easily found by all, hence the title.
They will also be put up on the calender so keep a eye on it too
Feel free for anyone else to organize any rides too

Wouldnt be suprised if Mt G became a bit of a hot spot
for cop's soon. I know it always has been, but 3 riders off,
2 of them fatal in the last week. Just worth thinking about.

Went down through Peaks Crossing today.
Boonah, up the back way to Queen Mary Fall's.
Had a feed. Home via settlers way and over
Cunninghams Gap. Back across to Boonah,
    Beaudesert, Jimboomba, Brissy.

Another option that I sometimes do with one of the forums is:

One of the riders who's bikes off the road, or someone's Mrs,
or just a volunteer, sets off to a local park and sets up a BBQ.
Everyone else has a good thrash around in the group and meet
up at an approximate time. Few loaves, packs of sausages and
Woolies 50c cans of coke and it Hot Dogs or Ice cold can's
for $1 and any profit go's to the forum.

Advange is its cheaper than a pub lunch, Money helps out and
its OK to bring family/Kids/a football/non riding members.

Sometimes use the Red Cedar/White Cedar BBQ area's behind
Glorious or Camp Mountain lookout (BAD name!) near Nebo,
both ideal after a spirited lap of Somerset Dam/Splityard Creek.

Living on the Northside now, and wanted a quick
    morning ride today.

    Bunya Rd,
    Samford,
    Up and over Mt Glorious,
Some nice fast sweepers out to Somerset,
    Twistys around the Dam,
    Kilcoy,
    Neurum Rd to Woodford,
    Back over Mt Mee,
    Daybro,
    Samford,
    Home.

Was only about 220k's but had some fun sections
and several places to chose from for fuel / coffee.

Could easily have added a detour up to Nebo, Malaney,
Splityard Creek to Fernvale or similar to have extended it.
