I'm a Bridgestone man.

I've binned too many bikes on Dunlops they just don't seem to have enough stick for my insane wrenching of the throttle. Loved the 020 rears on the VTR with a Michelin Pilot on the front. Used to get around 10,000k's from the rear and 20 from the front.

I'm still on the original tyres the XJR came with having only done 2000k's since I bought it 5 months ago so it has Dunlops which I don't like and don't trust.

But now that I know MONO sells tyres, I'll be sending him a PM next time I need a new set of Rubber (the front is almost fooked ).

The slingshot has pirelli's,diablo front and a strada rear.(nice combo for a light front end)
The CB1300 has a set off pilot road 3"s which are beautiful to ride on...wet or dry,it did have a set of pirelli angel's on it that felt great but went off really quick.
The Banbusa has a set of Bridgestone 040's...but iv only done 600 k on em, wanted pirelli's but none in the shop.

When it's not being used as a storage capsule, it's ok, i have a bedford which does a great job stopping shit getting wet.

I put a set of Michelin Pilot pures on the zx9 tracky. I did a trackday with them green and had absolutely no issues, they scubbed in fast, and were as secure feeling as slicks. I've always leant towards Michelins, but a set of Pirelli's could be in my future, simply because my mate running a 1098 has a set on his weapon, and he loves em. The Hidden Valley track is fairly hard on tires [very grainy, hot! surface] and the Michelins felt secure all the way to the " hero marks" on the edges.

Fark me I was luck to see 3500k out of a rear on my VTR with Diablo's and Pilot powers wearing the same but the Powers had better turn in. With the suspension set up it never torn them apart just wore them down.

The 7 is not looking any better the current Bridgestone is a 003 will be lucky to see 2500k on the rear but it sticks to fucking everything I would say after a good run to heat it up I could climb walls. I have never seen over 4000 on any rear yet and maybe 8k on a front. I gotta be doing something wrong Pav was saying he gets about 10000000000k out of his aswell.

I loved the old Pilot race and powers but have heard mixed reviews on the new range

last set of powers was 17ks front still legal and 10ks on back is easy for me ,have new pilot pures on now stick like shit on a blanket turn in better than power but i dont think i will see as many ks but feel good on the 7 as i ride it everyday decent ks is good for my pocket not that i have anything against nice soft sticky goodness it would simply cost me shitloads for tyres

i ran pilot powers on my old cbr600f4y,they were great,probly bc it was a little lite bike ,on my old 900 blade it was bridgestones,,but with the gsxr it ate a front pilot power in 2000ks ,,,pirelli all the way,, im with Rod

I used to run Pirelli on my bikes, the Super corsa are great in the dry, but less than inspiring in the wet. I was given a pair of the Metzeler RaceTecs to try, and I now run them on all of my bikes. Fantastic grip and feedback in both the dry and more importantly in the wet. I get race scrubs from a couple of sources one for the 180/120 pairs and someone else for the 190/120 pairs. I sell them to most of the guys I maintain bikes for now. I won't run anything else now. I hadn't used Metzeler for years since I had the old ME99/ME33 Perfect combos on my GPZ600/900s, and I must say I was really very impressed with them, I'm now running both the RaceTec and the newer Interacts, I generally use the medium compound over the year although during the summer the soft compound are feckin' amazing, and stick like the preverbial shit to a blanket.

was getting 12'thou out of my pirelli's on the cb13 but it was all highway riding....mind you the bastards where flat across the middle at that and would slide around when ya tripped into corner's....my pilots (road 3's) seem to be friggin great

I deliberately chose the 020 because it has the hard compound in the centre and the soft on the edges so it was a good tyre for scrapping through the hills on weekends and commuting to work through urban traffic during the week.

I have no idea what they've changed the name or number of them to now but it's what I'll be replacing the current Dunlop shitmax with once they're dead. Can't really complain about the ones on there now but I don't do long rides really it's all pretty much just commuting now, so they're barely warmed up by the time I get to school from home and vice versa.
