    "It has come to my attention that this sword may not have been made by the first Kanemasa since he passed away in 1921 and this sword's signature says 1945. It might have been made by his son, but I am only guessing here."

    This guy needed to be told by a buyer that if the sword is dated 1945 and the guy he claims made it died in 1921.... there may be an issue with authenticity...

    more ebay GOLD, I hope the maker is the only thing he guessing about because $770 is a lot for a cheap chinese rip off which is exactly what 95% of the so called "recovered Japanses Officer Swords" are.

    when i was in japen a few months back
    climbed hiroshima castle and saw geniune swords

    fuckin impressive!
    i have a cheaper one i bought from a comic shop in town here but i would LOVE a proper one
    (about 3grand gets you a smaller one in japan, or it did before the aussie dollar went to shit)

    that one looks cool, but clearly not worth jack-all
