    Fun with tools

while working with a drill press yesterday the thing i was drilling snagged.
before i could get my hand away the drill and the metal i was drilling had removed my thumb instead and chewed it up.

several hours of operations and the managed to re assemble most of it but i'll still be a stumpy.

take care with power tools kiddys

A mate of mine recently did a similar level of injury, except he got his stuck in chain and sprocket while cleaning his chain with a rag with the engine running and in gear and simply lopped it off. Hope you heal ok.

I read somewhere that most Buick drivers were missing brain cells or body parts.

Geez, are you the 3rd person on this forum to injure a hand somehow this year? Bad luck going around here.
You're not going to be able to do any "Hoppa" tackles with that hand now. Hope you recover quickly.
