Do they allow camping at the track?

No camping mate but plenty of rooms in town, or you can do what every one else tends to do...."hey Stu, can we camp on ya floor mate". or bring a tent I have a big yard.

I remember racing my old vh commodore there in 2000.

I think there was a big break between 2000 or 2001 and 2006, insurances killed it for a few years. They recently upgraded all their lights and printing gear, full brand new Race America setup now, very good, they are looking at a meet every second month at Gunnedah until they build the new setup. Longer term they have gained permission to build a full on 1/4 mile track at the Tamworth Oakburn Park facility, so hopefully in a couple of years we'll be doing the real thing every few weeks or so.

Test and tune today, after figuring out how to launch the gixxer best i could do was a 7.14, racing tomorrow.
