Lanyon servo

I rocked up to Lanyon servo yersterday morn on my way to work to fuel up my bike. All the pumps were shut down, some silly prick drove off with the nozzle still in their car and fucked the pump.

Are they old pumps?

I thought the hoses were supposed to tear off at a built in weak point when that happened

nar, pumps are spankers. Apparently the hose tore out of the top of the pump and the bloke in the servo told me fuel was gushing out all over the place. You'd think the pumps have an auto shut off when something like that happens.
