    Canberra loops/rides.

Other than the Cotter-Uriarra loop, what are other runs that peeps take out of Canberra.

Too easy. I'm im Gordon so I'm in a top spot to get out on those rides. I know plenty of good 4WD runs but I swapped my Hilux for a bike and now I gotta find the good rides.

    Thanks Chopiesel.

Captains Flat Rd is a good ride on a Sunday morn. Good feed at the local Cafe as well.

Or head towards Bungendore and go straight through towards Goulburn, rather than turn right towards the coast, number of routes back to CBR along that way.

Just get a local map and look at all the non-main road routes.

Or wait till after midnight and go nuts on CBR's race track like roads. (Don't forget to remove number plate first)

The roads a bloody tops. I've just come back after spending 12 months on the sunshine coast. Get a little bit of rain and the roads grew potholes deep enough to swallow my hilux.

From Tuggeranong to the airport at 250+ is a fun way to waste a few minutes.

I work between Condor and Symonston so living in Gordon I don't ride too far but a bloke I work with rides a zx12 (He snapped his 14 a month after buying it). He reckons he gets 300+ down the parkway on his way to work.

There are too many fixed speed cameras everywhere now though. I've been here since '89 so I know the place pretty well. I go away for 12 months and there are fucking speed traps everywhere.

Quick release or loose mounted number plate is the way to go.

Easier than getting your foot back to cover it up I reckon.

hahaha, its not always about age. I'm 28 and my joints ache like I'm 58. I thank my couch and comfy work cars.

The back road to Yass (out through Uriarra) is a good one, with a couple of little bits of good dirt.
Jugiong to Harden, heaps of 65/75k corners and nice surface.
Nice new bit of tar out between Gunning and Crookwell, so I've been told.
Mt Mcdonald is still worth a quick blat.
    Apollo Rd.
