    I am driving up, taking my bike on the ute (provided I can get it on there and keep it there that is.

    JackTar i bought the following tiedown points and made a bracket that the front wheel fits in to hold my bike properly in my ute. It works a well and is very easy to do. Just make sure the bracing on the front wheel bracket sits below the discs. I also used the same U bolts for the rear of the bike.

    Nicely done mate may have to look into doing something like that, only problem is my ute has a plastic tray liner and I have no way of just removing parts of the tray to put bolts and gear in otherwise I would have put more tie down points in it ages ago.

    Thanks for the idea though Oz I like it.
