Hey laidies and gents. as of 2morro (sunday 3rd febuary) i shall be in townsville.. not 100% on how long ill be up there, could be 4 years (apprenticeship) or just a few months. be cool to meet up with some of the members up there to show me the good roads n all that kinda good shit

Mate two good rides I have done up there is up the Paluma Range and further north to the Gillies Range near Cairns. Watch out for cops on the Bruce High way though

paluma is good for an arvo run but no a realy great ride, how ever the gillies, palmerstone, rex, and koranda ( spelling? ) are excelent rides and worth the 2.5 to 3 hour ride to get to them, and usuall we make a weekend of it ( althought it is hard for me to make it on a weekend as that is when i usually wrok ) best place to stay in cairns is gilligans back packers resort.

AS the guys typed previously, The Atherton tablelands are the only decent tarred high country around.
