Good on ya Darn, remember the main aim is to have FUN.
Be careful though, dragracing can become VERY VERY addictive.

..this may have answered one of my questions ...;]
Interesting and good artical in this weeks MCN comparing 07 with 08 Speed Triple, both with Arrow Cans, 07 had 3 into 1 and 08 slip ons.

Street had Arrow 3 into 1.

Standing 1/4 Top Speed Top Gear Roll On
    Speed 08 11.18secs@124.99mph 153.79mph 17.55 secs
    Speed 07 10.83 secs@129.76mph 152.71mph 13.80 secs
    Street 11.33secs@125.87mph 144.47mph 16.10 secs

Looks like the Arrow 3 into 1 makes a big difference.

All bikes got 5 stars and really good write ups.

Also artical on a high spec Street and redesigned Daytona 675, cosmetic stuff mainly.

No more rumours on 1050+ Daytona!!!!!!!!

Fang the fuck out of it... Its got a rev limiter for a reason, the first time you hit it I garuntee you'll shit ya self but then you'll be ok. I reckon you'll hit 11's in no time, then like me you'll be looking a building a dedicated drag bike. FOR FUCK SAKE!!! how the hell did that happen??????

No good Smurf. The old GS1000 has electrical issues (Not my strong point)and the brakes are somewhat fucked, the bleed nipple on one of the front brakes is seized solid and the rear hasn't had any fluid in it for i don't know how long. I think both ends need and overhaul and suzuki can't get me any seals for it. I'm thinking of fucking it off and starting afresh. I've got an offer of another bike which i think will probably make a better racer anyway. But I'll pick you brain on saturday mate .
