Gold coast bike week (advice)

just a bit of advice...if you go to the show, dont bother with the dyno. having used it on friday and listening to the "EXPERTS" on the stand i took my bike for another dyno run at a local place. i had gained 12hp over night and it didnt cost me a cent...more to the point there air/fuel readings are wrong...two runs on the dyno and adjusted mixture screws...my bike is 100% better

I was talking to another Guy there from Sydney who has his own Dyno.
He recon's they had no "weather station" compensation and didn't
allow for heat, alttitude (not realy aplicable!) humidity etc etc.
His guess was that they were at least 8 to 10hp down on all readings.
Fine if you compare 2 bikes on the day, no use if you compare with
other dyno's.
Then again, it no secret that any 2 dyno's can easily read different.

Just what I was told.

That would have made Shayne's bus over 150hp and that blown Harley over 140hp.
