20/05/2007, 1/8th mile dragracing, Wellington, NSW

Will post more details tomorrow night ... but...

The next Bodangora 1/8th mile dragrace meeting is on May 20, 2007.

If you went to AFR in Dubbo, you'll already know where Wellington is.

If you didn't, Wellington is an easy four hours from Penrith or Richmond.

Forget the Corporate World attitude of the big city strips, we're all about having fun and getting plenty of runs.

All racing is on the 'Bodangora Shuffle' which is a four-round non-elimination system. Plus you'll get plenty of qualifying runs.

Camping is available at the track on Saturday night, very basic but cheap. IE: Free.

    More details tomorrow night.

    Have fun,
    Mick

That would be a good deviation on the way home from the Sports compact meet.

    UPDATE

Dubbo City Car Club is running the Bodangora track championships and the first meeting is on May the 20th.

There are three meetings in the series: May 20, August 19, and September 16.

I know that this is a bit short notice, but we'd like you to join us for the series.

There's prizemoney and trophies for the series winners and place getters.

Due to short notice, entries will be accepted on the day, as long as prior arrangements have been made with the club.

The meeting is open to street cars, race cars, bikes and j.d's.

If you require any additional information, please contact either myself via email, pm or Craig (Tiny) Leven on 0427 843 588.

Sounds like I may just take the race bike out and get some practice for quicker starts.
Besides I'm only 40 minutes from there anyway LOL
