'80 GSX1100 + spare engine and frame - **SOLD**

For sale my 1980 GSX1100 EX was used as a commuter for a year or so, now rego has run out (Dec 06) due to repairs needed. Still within three months before blue slip. Had all intentions, like everyone else of doing it up.....but have no where to store it anymore.

Have not ridden it for a month since losing my license, but have started it regularly. The overall is as follows:

Bad points.

Cosmetically poor, needs a repaint.
Has a dent in the tank
Second reco engine was put in which is now has a bad oil leak. This is possibly due to the fact it had an overbore(crankcase pressure) and hard use. Makeshift breather was added.
Front brakes not bled properly, sometimes seeze.
Exhaust system rusted
Front headlight patched up/replaced
Fork seals need replacing
Speedo/tacho/instruments broken
Electrics overall a bit of a mess

Apparently a 1166 piston kit, paid $1500 for engine alone - pulls like a mule on steroids. Plus sounds like it
Exhuast - 4 into 1 Megacycle
New ignition switch(aftermarket)
Dual streetfighter style headlights($120 from UK). Only put on to please cops : )
Spare frame - compliance plate, but no papers
Spare engine - dismantled, chewed No. 1 piston + various missing bits - 95% there


Unfortunately due to having nowhere to store it I need to sell all, job lot before end of the weekend and before I have to move. This will be a strictly CASH SALE ONLY, first to pay has it, serious buyers only please.

From the front. Only one headlight is hooked up to run, with the two it was draining too much power.

This is the spare engine. Was told this has MTC pistons in it and is also a 1166cc bore.
The piston closest to shot is the one which shat itself. I have the head and block aswell, but dont have stater clutch. Missing bits and pieces such as screws etc.
