I got some sound advice of the guys on here and i think i would be looking at melbourne. Im just pricing up flights etc right now for a holiday first.

Australia is a BRILLIANT place for a holiday,
just remember life's a bit different when your stuck in
the rush hour traffic and doing your weeks work
I came out here 4 years running 2000 to 2003 and moved out
in 2004. Not cheap to do, but lots of research meant I got it
right first time I arrived.

You will find cheaper, but check out Singapore Airlines.
They do a "direct" flight with only 1 stop in Singapore
which is a decent airport anyway. If you book the right
flights you only wait 3 or 4 hours and your off again.
If you havent done the UK/OZ trip before just be carefull
of how many stops / Refuels etc some of the cheaper flights
have and how long your hanging around for.

I had a look about for flights and i found one from heathrow to Melbourne direct and then on to Adelaide where i am going to for £465.
I thought it was wrong so I checked again and it was right and that was quoted with BA and Quantas and I could get it even cheaper by £100 if i opted to stop over at singapore or qualalumpa?

Thats us got the aussie immigration forms in....was gonna do it through a company...but worked out 1500 uk cheaper trying myself.
Brisbane is looking favourite at mo...if anyone needs /has a plumbers job for me.
Gonna finish tdr and gs & gsxr...then sell
will have to bring the rd750 over

Best move my parents ever made was comming to Australia from Scotland .We landed in Darwin xmas day 1965, me one year old nearly carcked it in the tropical heat.Oh yeah you can still get Iron Bru here to.
