Wow. That's the sneekiest work I've ever come across! That's blatant revenue making with no warnings. I bet they lowered the speed limit at the same time.

1X RUBBER TYRE SOME PETROL AND A BOX OF MATCHES AND THE PROBLEM DISAPEARS

What does the camara use to measure your speed .I cant see any markings on the road or barriers so all the camara is going to get is a picture as you go by and no visible means of proving your speed.
But aaahhh i hear you say the camara is fitted with a radar or whatever device which triggers at a preset speed but if there are no road markings or other official markings to prove your speed in a photo then there is no case to answer as there is no evidence and the system in use is open to missuse and abuse by the very organisations entrusted to use them.
I assume the law in Australia is innocent until proven guilty beyound all probable doubt ,if this is true then this statement alone blows the fuck out of the speed camaras in use in sa at the moment and probably through out Australia aswell .

Has anyone tried contesting a speeding ticket issued by these type of camaras?

I've actually never had one and I know that the law is so under funded that there is only one fixed camera on the coast, and that's at traffic lights. Stationary car units are a different matter though........
